AN OUTLINE OF THE STAGES OF OUR ROBOTICS TRAINING PROGRAMME

This is an outline of how our courses are defined. The introductory courses are designed to capture the interest of participants by letting beginners witg no experience or technical skills to get started and have fun with robotics. The foundation courses provides the fundamentals of robotics where participants learn the basics of machine intelligence. This is where participants learn start to seriously learn about robotics. The intermediate level courses lets participants explore and solidify their skills and knowledge by making them their robot creation overcome a set of challenges. In the competitive stage, participants would already identified a national or international robotics compatition they would like to take part in. The Advanced stage courses/workshops challenges participants to think and come out with creative solutions. This is where participants experiment with new/non-standard hardware and programming options.

INTRODUCTORY

- Provides a foundation and concepts of robotics combined with fun and engaging hands-on projects and challenges.

FOUNDATION

- Equip participants with strong grasps of concepts and fundamentals. Includes frendly challenges and competitions.

INTERMEDIATE

- Explores the robot function and features in detail. Includes challenges to test and hone the problem solving abilities of participants.

COMPETITION

- Prepares participants for LEGO robotics competitions like the First LEGO League and the NJRC. We use the LEGO Green City Challenge set and our customed designed challenges.

ADVANCED

- Optimize robot function and features in depth. Modify, improvise and incoporate non-standard features for best performance.
